Maryse was shown backstage at the start of Raw as the locker room watched the crowning of the new WWE Champion. Maryse and a few of the other Divas were sporting ring gear! Later that night, a Divas promo is cut backstage with Eve and the Bellas, we see Maryse and Melina in the ring looking on. We get set for Maryse and Melina, in black and white w/silver outfits vs Kelly Kelly and Eve in gold and purple! Eve and Maryse start things off. Eve gets offense first and hits a standing moonsault.
Maryse counters and mocks Kelly by sending Eve into the corner and giving her a sloppy stink face that Kelly usually does. Melina is tagged in and soon is Kelly. Kelly taunts Maryse and slaps her butt then proceeds in doing Maryse’s hair flip. This upsets Maryse and she climbs into the ring only to be kicked out by Eve. Kelly finishes Melina with her leg drop for the win. A little longer of a match than last week but it seemed like the 4 tried to pull off a good match quickly. We’re just happy to see Maryse in the ring wrestling!

The picture of Maryse as Divas Champion sure does feel like awhile ago doesn't it? When Maryse first started out, there didn't appear to be much upside to her. Her character wasn't anything new, her in-ring talent needed work and she had trouble talking on the mic.
Times have changed since her early days in the WWE, and Maryse has become one of the best heels in the divas division and has improved her in-ring and microphone talents immensely in the past few years. It was all of this improvement that lead to her obtaining a significant push and becoming a two-time Divas Champion.
However, since losing the title last year, Maryse has been up to very little. She was Ted Dibiase's manager for awhile, which gave both superstars some airtime, but the storyline never seemed to go anywhere. After parting ways with Dibiase, Maryse has been seen in the ring even less than before. Her latest in-ring appearance was May 2nd against Kelly Kelly, which ended with Maryse being manhandled by Kharma.

nxt results july 19 2011
We’re getting a double fix of Maryse yet again this week, but we don’t mind! First Raw, now her weekly hosting of WWE NXT. Maryse was in the ring at the start of NXT with Matt Striker to introduce the Rookies. They got set for another Rookie challenge called the Dummy Demonstration. The three talked trash on each other and wrestled the dummy that had Michael Cole’s face it on while Maryse and Striker looked on and laughed. Maryse asked the live crowd for the winner and they picked Titus O’Neil. Maryse tweeted a picture before the show.credit http://maryse-ouellet.com/

Maryse throws her jacket at Beth as the bell rings but Beth with a reverse atomic drop and then she puts Maryse in a giant swing while Maryse screams. Beth with a clothesline and she gets a near fall. Maryse goes for the knee and she clips Beth and then kicks Beth and gets a near fall. Maryse slaps Beth and then she does a version of a curb stomp into the turnbuckle.
Beth with a forearm to the midsection but Maryse with a knee lift and she gets a near fall. Maryse yells at Beth while slamming her head into the mat. Maryse takes off Beth’s head band and puts it on herself and then Maryse does Beth’s pose and then she kicks Beth. Maryse with a forearm followed by a rear chin lock.
Beth gets to her feet with Maryse on her shoulders and Maryse with a punch while screaming like Melina to escape. Beth runs Maryse into the corner and Beth punches Maryse and then hits the slingshot suplex and gets a near fall. Beth picks up Maryse and punches her with the head band. Maryse with a back heel kick and then she gets a near fall.
